Opened on February 26, 1979, the airport is located approximately 40 km west of Taipei, in the Dayuan district of Taoyuan city. Its IATA code is TPE, and its ICAO code is RCTP. The airport features two parallel runways, one 3660 meters long and the other 3800 meters long. Its annual passenger capacity is around 34 million. The structure, consisting of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, includes duty-free shops, restaurants, cafes, and various shopping options. Terminal Information
There are two main terminals at Taoyuan International Airport. Terminal 1 was opened in 1979 and serves international flights with its 22 gates.
