Vinh International Airport is located in the north of Vietnam, in the city of Vinh, Nghe An province, in the Nghi Lien Commune. Built by the French in 1937, this airport serves both civilian and military purposes. The airport, with IATA code VII and ICAO code VVVH, has a single runway. The runway is 2400 meters long and 45 meters wide. The airport has an annual passenger capacity of 800,000 to 3 million and aims to increase this capacity to 7-8 million by 2030. The terminal features duty-free shops, restaurants, and cafes. Vinh International Airport is an important transportation hub for the region and also plays a significant role in cargo transportation.
