Tripuck eSIM Setup Guide
Pick your device, follow the steps, and be online the moment you land.
Before You Begin
- Keep a Wi-Fi or working mobile connection handy during setup — the profile downloads over the internet.
- Your QR code arrives by email right after payment and also stays on your order tracking page.
- It's easiest to install before you leave home; activation only starts once you're in your destination.
- Check that your device supports eSIM and isn't carrier-locked (SIM lock).
- Save a screenshot of the QR code — you'll need it again if you switch or reset your phone.
Step-by-Step on iPhone
- 1
Open cellular settings
Open the Settings app and go to “Cellular” (called “Mobile Data” on some models).
- 2
Add a new line
Tap “Add eSIM” or “Add Cellular Plan”; the QR setup screen will appear.
- 3
Scan the Tripuck QR code
Point your camera at the QR code in your email. If it won't scan, tap “Enter Details Manually” and type the SM-DP+ address and activation code from the email.
- 4
Install the plan
Review the plan summary and tap “Add Cellular Plan” to download the profile to your phone.
- 5
Organise your lines
Label the eSIM “Tripuck” or your destination; keep your own line for calls and texts, and pick the Tripuck eSIM for data.
- 6
Turn on data roaming
Go to Settings > Cellular > (your Tripuck line) and enable “Data Roaming”. The plan kicks in once you connect to a network at your destination.
If the QR Won't Scan: Manual Setup
No need to worry if the code won't scan. In your device settings choose “Add eSIM → Enter details manually”, then type the SM-DP+ server address and activation code (LPA) from your email — that's all it takes to finish the install.
Handy Tips
- Install the eSIM before you travel but turn roaming on only after you arrive; since the plan starts on first connection, you won't waste a day.
- Keep your own number active for calls and texts and route all data through the Tripuck eSIM — no surprise roaming bills.
- An eSIM profile installs only once; the same QR can't be scanned again after you delete it, so think twice before removing it.
- If data won't connect, toggle airplane mode for a few seconds, restart the phone, or select the network manually in Settings.
