The airport has two parallel runways, each 3,500 meters long, and a helipad. With an annual passenger capacity of approximately 6 million, this airport plays a significant role in Romania's air transportation. It houses various duty-free shops, restaurants, cafes, and hotel services. Additionally, it is an important hub for cargo transportation.
