Kokshetau Airport is located in the Akmola Region of Kazakhstan, approximately 12.5-13 km northeast of the city of Kokshetau, near the village of Akkol. It was opened in 1945 under the name Kokchetav Airport. The airport's IATA code is KOV, and its ICAO code is UACK. The airport is situated at an elevation of 270 meters and has a single asphalt/concrete runway that is 2,850 meters long and 45 meters wide. This runway is capable of serving all types of aircraft. The annual passenger capacity is limited to approximately 50,000 passengers, and the current terminal has a capacity of 200 passengers per hour. The airport features duty-free areas, restaurants, and various shops. Additionally, it is an important hub for cargo transportation.
