Konya Airport is located just 18 kilometers from the city center and serves both civilian and military flights. Opened to civilian flights in 1998, the airport began international flights in 2001. With the IATA code KYA and ICAO code LTAN, the airport offers services with an annual capacity of 3.5 million passengers. The airport has two runways, each 3350 meters long. No additional transportation is required for passengers to move between terminals, as all services are provided in a single terminal.
Getting from Airport to City Center
Metro: There is no metro system in Konya. However, the Konya Tram can be used for urban transportation. Tram stops are not directly close to the airport, so it is not preferred for airport transportation.
Bus: Bus lines 51, 51A, and 51K operated by Konya Metropolitan Municipality provide direct transportation from the airport to the city center. Additionally, bus lines 44 and 47 can also be used. Bus schedules are arranged according to flight programs.

Taxi: 24/7 taxi service is available at the domestic and international terminals' passenger exits. The city center can be reached in approximately 20-25 minutes.
