Boryspil International Airport (IATA: KBP, ICAO: UKBB), the largest airport in Kyiv, is located in the capital of Ukraine. Opened on July 7, 1959, the airport handles 65% of Ukraine's passenger air traffic, making it the country's most important airport. However, since February 24, 2022, the airport has been closed due to the closure of the country's airspace following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
