Palanga International Airport is located approximately 7 km north of Palanga, on the Baltic Sea coast in western Lithuania. The airport began aviation activities in 1937, and the first civil air connection was established on the Kaunas-Palanga route in 1939. Its IATA code is PLQ, and its ICAO code is EYPA.
