It is situated 46 km south of Tiananmen Square and 65 km south of Beijing Capital International Airport. The airport is recognized by the IATA code PKX and the ICAO code ZBAD. Initially planned with an annual passenger capacity of 45 million, this massive complex with four runways is expected to reach 72 million by 2025 and ultimately target 100 million passengers.
