Samui International Airport (IATA: USM, ICAO: VTSM) is a unique airport located on the island of Ko Samui, Thailand. Opened in 1989, the airport is situated in Bo Phut district, approximately 2 km north of Chaweng. Serving over 1 million passengers annually, it is the seventh busiest airport in Thailand. Built by Bangkok Airways, this airport stands out with its traditional Thai architecture; natural materials like bamboo and wicker are used. USM receives international flights from places such as Singapore and Hong Kong, in addition to domestic flights. The airport features various shops, restaurants, and cafes for shopping. There are two lounges at Samui Airport under the name Blue Ribbon Club Lounge. The lounge in the Domestic Terminal is located on the left after the security check, between Gates 2 and 3.
