Tartu Airport (IATA: TAY, ICAO: EETU) is located southwest of the city of Tartu, Estonia, in the Reola/Ülenurme Parish area. The airport, approximately 10 km from the city center, was opened on May 15, 1946. In 2009, the runway length was extended to 1,799 meters and modernized. The annual passenger capacity varies between 10,000-20,000, and with the resumption of Helsinki flights in 2024, it served 37,369 passengers. The airport has one runway and hosts commercial, private, and medical flights such as Finnair's Helsinki flights, as well as training flights of the Estonian Aviation Academy. There is an Airport LHV Lounge at Tartu Airport. This lounge is located on the 2nd floor of the terminal and is open every day from 04:30 to 22:00.
