What is Tripuck Balance?

Every time you buy an eSIM on Tripuck, part of what you pay is added to your account as balance. You can use this balance at checkout on your next eSIM purchases. No separate sign-up is needed; your Tripuck account is enough.

How much balance do I earn?

Accepted Answer

The rate grows with your eSIM spending over the last 12 months: 5% at the Traveler level, 8% at the Silver level once you spend $50 in 12 months, and 10% at the Gold level once you spend $100. Your level is set at the start of each order based on your last 12 months of spending; earlier orders are not recalculated when you move up a level. If your 12-month spending drops below a threshold, you move down a level; balance you have already earned is not affected. Refunded orders and add-on fees do not count as spending. Thresholds are set in the currency of the site you shop on.

What amount is the balance calculated on?

On the package amount you pay by card. The part you pay with balance and add-on fees such as SMS notifications or WhatsApp support are not included.

When is the balance added to my account?

As soon as your eSIM is delivered. Your order confirmation email shows how much you earned from that order, and you can see all transactions on your balance page.

Does my balance expire?

Earned balance is valid for 12 months; any expired part is removed from your balance. Your balance page warns you about balance expiring within 30 days. Order refunds made to your balance do not expire.

Where can I use my balance?

When buying an eSIM package or a top-up for your existing eSIM on Tripuck, choose "Use my balance" at checkout. You can use all of your balance or just part of it. If your balance covers the whole basket, you can complete the payment without entering card details.

When can't I use my balance?

Accepted Answer

You need to be signed in to use your balance. It can't be combined with a discount coupon on the same order. It can't be used on orders placed after arriving through a partner website's link; in that case you can order by visiting Tripuck directly. Gift balance (promotions, compensation) can cover at most 10% of an order.

Which orders don't earn balance?

Orders with a discount coupon and corporate (B2B) orders don't earn balance. If an order is refunded, the balance earned from it is taken back; for a partial refund, it is taken back in proportion to the refund.

I ordered without an account. What happens to my balance?

Accepted Answer

Balance from a guest order is held against your email address. It is added to your balance once you create a Tripuck account with the same email address and verify it. Guest orders earn at the Traveler rate (5%).

What do I get for inviting a friend?

Accepted Answer

Share the personal invite link on your My Balance page. If your friend opens a new Tripuck account through that link and spends $20 in total on eSIMs, you each get $1 in bonus balance. Your friend needs to be signed in when ordering; guest orders don't count. Only newly created accounts that haven't ordered before can be invited. You can earn up to 10 invite rewards a month. Bonus balance can cover up to 10% of an order and is valid for 12 months.

Which currency is my balance in?

Accepted Answer

Your balance is kept in the currency of your first earning and doesn't change afterwards. When you shop in a different currency, the amount used is converted at the current exchange rate.

Can I cash out or transfer my balance?

Accepted Answer

No. Tripuck Balance can only be used for purchases on Tripuck; it can't be exchanged for cash or transferred to another account.
