How to Get to the Airport
Train/Rail System (S-Bahn and Regional Trains): From central stations such as Berlin Hbf, Alexanderplatz, and Friedrichstraße, lines like FEX, S9, and S45 can be used to reach BER Terminal 1-2. The FEX line takes 30-32 minutes from Berlin Hbf and departs every 30 minutes. The S9 line departs every 20 minutes and takes 58 minutes.
Bus: From stops in the city center, the X7 bus goes to U-Rudow, from where metro access to the airport is provided. Buses depart every 20 minutes and take a total of 45-55 minutes.
Taxi: A taxi can be called from the city center to reach the official taxi stand in front of Terminal 1.

From Airport to City Center
Metro: The M1 (or M4) metro line, which provides transportation from Sofia Airport to the city center, is located on the eastern side of Terminal 2. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Services run every 5-15 minutes, and the metro operates from 05:30 until midnight. You can easily reach important points like Serdika in the city center by metro.
Bus: Besides the metro, bus lines 84 and 184 depart from both terminals and provide transportation to the city center. The journey takes between 30-40 minutes. Buses depart every 20-30 minutes and operate from 05:30 to 23:30.
Taxi: You can easily reach the city center from the official taxi stands at the exits of Terminals 1 and 2. The journey takes 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Taxi service is available 24 hours a day without interruption.
